Absolutely. This retreat is open to everyone, including those who are adopted, estranged from family, unsure of their lineage, or navigating complicated family histories. We’ll be working with a variety of heart-centered practices designed to help you connect with the deeper energies of ancestry, belonging, and lineage in ways that go beyond names, records, or traditional family structures.

Our intention is that you leave feeling more connected to yourself, your story, and the unseen support that surrounds you than ever before.

For those who feel called, Dawn also offers optional Akashic Records sessions prior to the retreat. The Akashic Records are often described as the energetic record of the soul and can offer insight, healing, and deeper understanding around your life path, family of origin, and the energies you carry.

Many people who are adopted or uncertain about their birth circumstances have found the Records to be deeply meaningful, healing, and reassuring. The Akashic Records can sometimes offer insight into the energies, circumstances, and soul dynamics surrounding your birth, your biological parents, and your lineage journey. While the experience is not meant to function as a literal fact-finding tool or replace tangible records, people often receive meaningful emotional insight, clarity, validation, and details that help them feel more connected to their story and the deeper purpose of their life experience.

Yes. Many of us carry complicated, painful, or heavy stories within our lineage. Part of this work is creating space to gently acknowledge what has been carried through generations with compassion, honesty, and care.

This retreat is being held as a safe, supportive, and trauma-informed space where people can come together in community, witness one another’s humanity, and move through this work with tenderness and respect. You will never be forced to share beyond what feels comfortable for you, and we deeply honor each person’s individual process and boundaries.

When we gather from the heart, we often discover that none of us are alone in carrying grief, pain, loss, or difficult family stories. There is something profoundly healing about being witnessed in a safe space and remembering that healing does not have to happen in isolation.

Our intention is not to judge the past, but to create space for understanding, release, healing, and reconnection. We believe that when we lovingly tend what has been carried through generations, we create new possibilities for ourselves and for those who come after us.

Working directly with the Akashic Records can also be a powerful support for generational healing work. Many people experience the Akashic Records as a deeply compassionate space that can help bring awareness to inherited patterns, emotional burdens, and long-held family dynamics while also creating space for healing, understanding, and release.
